El Patron: Authentic Mexican Bar Experience in Riverside

The first time eating at El Patrón, we celebrated our granddaughters' graduation. The atmosphere was great. They have a great drink menu. The food was authentic. Menu prices were very reasonable, They did not skimp on the food portion. We have a large family & everyone took home leftovers. definitely recommend El Patrón. Thank you for taking good care of us on this very special occasion.

Went in on a Sunday late morning but it still wasn't overly busy. Getting a waitress to come take our initial drink order took a little while but once she did, drinks and food came out quickly. Our menudo and pozole were very good, right amount of spice. We will definitely go again!

We sat at the bar today, my daughter in law and I had a brunch date. Fernando was our waiter he was sweet. Caring, friendly, and polite. He even said that I resembled Ariana Grande!! Super sweet server! Thank you Fernando for your great service! And Robert as well, he always makes sure to come out and greet us.! Santiago the owner also is always kind and friendly to us. Always makes he’s way too greet us as well.

I was here for brunch. No wait at 1100am. It's a nice, clean place. Food is decent, standard Mexican food menu. I had the chilaquiles with chili verde and was satisfied. The salsa was very good. The service was very good. Our waiter was attentive and kept our mimosas filled! 4 stars for value. The price of the food was average$20, but the added $25 pp for bottomless mimosas was unusual, Imo. Other bottomless options were margaritas, bloody Mary's and other juice options for the champagne were pineapple and cranberry juice. The server added a bit of dry ice for a fun smokey effect!

Good food and good drinks. Salsa and Gauq was fire. Shrimp cocktail was on point. Waitress was really nice and helpful. Friday night had a party vibe. Good music. Couldn’t ask for more. Thx for the hospitality.

Went for the happy hour. Margaritas were delicious and very affordable. Their happy hour food menu was pretty affordable. Highly recommend.

Food was amazing. Staff were very accommodating. I received excellent service and the restaurant ambiance was a 10/10.

Food is so good and amazing, y’all need to come here everything was seasoned to protection and tasted fresh! Service is also amazing, the workers are so kind and have a smile on their faces every time, no bad attitude and no discrimination coming from a black teenage girl! The atmosphere is also very pretty and peaceful, the music just gives in with the vibe and completed everything fantastic about this place, I absolutely have no complaints and recommend this spot 100%. Best Mexican in riverside no competition.
